Museum School Fundraiser in Black And White

The theme was black and white, the location was perfect at the Museum of Photographic arts, the guests were fun and friendly, the food by Huapangos Mexican Cuisine was yummy and the music spun from vinyl set the tone for a great evening. There were so many wonderful auction items and I know everyone had a great time! A special shout out goes to all of the amazing student art available at the silent auction.

And I was thrilled to have my photograph on display at MOPA...even though it was just for one night. Thanks to Phil Beaumont and the Museum School for allowing me to be a part of this fun evening!

ConnectMed Gala- Great Location, Great Event, Great Cause

The Great Hall on the UCSD campus was a stunning location for The ConnectMed's Annual Winter Fundraiser for 2012. It is such a great organization founded by Dr. Amanda Gosman who, along with a team of volunteers provide life-changing facial surgeries for children in need as well as much needed follow up care.

There were tempting treats of all sorts in the silent and live auction, great music, food and a room full of delightful and caring people. Oh...and lots of adorable children I loved photographing including Justin and Amada's precious baby girl.

I am so excited to meet with the guests that donated by signing up for the portrait package in the silent auction. I am happy to offer a few more sessions for the $100 donation if there are guests that would still like the $500 value package by contacting me at 619 233-9390. My First Beloved Session

A beloved session is different from a portrait session where the main goal is the finished portraits. Beloved is an experience. It is a celebration of love, of connection, of what is true between two hearts. The "invites" allow couples to connect in fun ways and tender ways,

 rediscover the bond and delight that brought them together

 in the first place.

Janene and David are so special and were willing to let me into the heart of their love story. 25 years together and they still seem like newlyweds. When he talks about her you can't help but feel that this is the fairy tail love we (or at least I) always dreamed of.

The vibe was friendly and fun and caring as The Regal Bar in La Mesa became packed with supporters of the Jane Johnson Foundation, an organization that offers creative stimulation for the significantly developmentally disabled. http://janesroom.org/ The food, music and abundant auction items made it a great evening. Imagine...

Saturday night was  La Costa High's Boogie for Bucks Fundraiser and it was rocking at the Belly Up. The food, the music, the cool setting...and the people were fabulously fun.
